【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardisanintegralpartofITU-TRecsX.606.X|ISO/IEC14476"ECTP:EnhancedCommunicationsTransportProtocol",whichisafamilyofProtocolSpecificationsdesignedtosupportmulticasttransportservices.ITU-TRec.X.606|ISO/IEC14476-1providesaspecificationofvariousprotocoloperationsforsimplexmulticasttransport.Thoseprotocoloperationsincludeconnectionmanagementsuchasconnectioncreation/terminationandconnectionpause/resume,membershipmanagementsuchaslatejoin,userleaveandmembershiptracking,anderrorcontrolformulticastdatatransportsuchaserrordetectionandrecovery.ThispartoftheRecommendation|InternationalStandardprovidesaspecificationofQoSmanagementforaccomplishingdesirablequalityofserviceinsimplexmulticasttransportconnection.ThisSpecificationdescribesthefollowingQoSmanagementoperations:a)QoSnegotiationForQoSnegotiation,thisSpecificationassumesthatadesiredQoSlevelformulticastapplicationservicecanbeexpressedintermsofasetofQoSparameters.QoSnegotiationisperformedviaexchangeofcontrolpacketsbetweensenderandreceivers.SenderproposesthetargetvaluesofQoSparametersobtainedfromtheapplication'srequirements,andtheneachreceivercanproposemodifiedvaluesbasedonitssystemand/ornetworkcapacity.Senderarbitratesthemodifiedvaluesproposedbyreceivers.TargetvaluesforQoSparameterscanbeusedasinputparametersforreservationofnetworkresources.b)QoSmonitoringQoScontrolinECTPisbasedonfeedbackofcontrolpacketsfromreceivers.Thefeedbackmessagesfromreceiversenablethesendertokeeptrackofthenumberofactivereceiversandalsotomonitortheconnectionstatusformulticastdatatransport.QoSmonitoringisdesignedtoallowthesendertodiagnosetheconnectionstatusintermsofQoSparametervalues,andthustotakethenecessaryactionsformaintainingtheconnectionstatusatadesiredQoSlevel.Themonitoredconnectionstatuswillbereportedtotheapplicationatthesenderside.Theinformationconveyedcouldprovidestatisticsusefulforbillingpurposes,forexample.c)QoSmaintenanceBasedonfeedbackinformationfromreceivers,thesendertakesoneormoreactionssoastomaintaintheconnectionstatusatadesiredQoSlevel.TheseQoSmaintenanceactionsincludeadjustmentofthedatatransmissionrate,connectionpauseandresume,troublemakerejectionandconnectionterminationoperations.TheseQoSmonitoringandmaintenancefunctions,basedonmonitoredparameterstatus,providerate-basedcongestioncontrol.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardisanintegralpartofITU-TRecsX.606.X|ISO/IEC14476,whichhas6parts.Alloftheprotocolcomponents,includingpacketformatsandprotocolproceduresspecifiedinITU-TRec.X.606|ISO/IEC14476-1,arealsovalidinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.
