【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminestheratingofdieselfueloilintermsofanarbitraryscaleofcetanenumbersusingastandardsinglecylinder,four-strokecycle,variablecompressionratio,indirectinjecteddieselengine.Thecetanenumberscalecoverstherangefromzero(0)to100buttypicaltestingisintherangeof30to65cetanenumber.ThevaluesforoperatingconditionsarestatedinSIunitsandareconsideredstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesarethehistoricalinch-poundsunits.Inaddition,theenginemeasurementscontinuetobeininch-poundsunitsbecauseoftheextensiveandexpensivetoolingthathasbeencreatedfortheseunits.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Formorespecifichazardstatements,seeAnnexA1.
